This is a staple of ours when visiting Tokyo. Very easy to get in and order in English. Generally very cheap, especially compared to sushi in the US. If you've never done made to order sushi before you have to try this place!

It is a good sushi place for the novelty factor and the selection, price and portion sizes are great. I love to eat alone, and there is always a seat for singles there. When you arrive, you must go indoors and pick up the sign in paper to write your name down with the number of people you wish to eat with. The queues outside often are many foreigners who haven't written their names down trying to get in. The quality is inconsistent, but for the price nobody should be allowed to complain. I am a ravenous eater (like a grown man haha) and can be full for 1500 yen, which is impressive from sushi alone.

Cheap, fast, tasty, intertaining place to try sushi in Tokyo. Very fast ordering, fresh ingredients, tasty sake and smiling staff - all is great. But please be aware that during some "high attendance" days Genki Sushi will only give you 45 minutes for the meal.

Not that I'm aware. The sushi is affordably cheap and delicious. And safe. You can also ordet a small bowl of delicious ramen or udon. The steaming green tea is free and all you can drink. Not to be missed.
